The Youth Council was launched in 2006 with the aim of keeping Junior Achievement SA in touch with the needs of the youth. It seeks to cultivate learners’ leadership potential by encouraging them to engage on national and social issues, particularly those that affect youth.
The Council is headed by a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson and other portfolios range from Marketing, Sales and Human Resources. The council has been allocated a budget of a R1000 to enable them to engage in activities.
